During the early 90’s, Dubarch obtained the commission for one of the most prestigious and iconic landmark buildings in Dubai, the National Bank of Dubai Mr. Rahbar was fully involved in the conceptual design and ultimately chosen as the main Consultant on this project.
Dubarch’s prestigious client list includes: Corporate and Government agencies, such as, the Commercial Bank of Dubai, the Shangri-La Hotel ,the Government of Dubai Real Estate, the Dubai Technology & Electronic Commerce Village (TECOM real estate department) and Omniyat Properties (Real estate development division of Almasa Holdings).

Dubai, in the December 6, 2007: Dr Ahmed Al Banna was elected to the board of the Arab Union for International Exhibitions & Conferences. He was also appointed as the Assistant Secretary General (Communications). The tenure is for a period of two years. The announcement was made at the 8th Annual General Meeting of the Union held at Syria, Damascus on November 25, 2007.
Speaking on his appointment Dr Ahmed Al Banna said, "I am thankful to the board for having reposed their trust in me. I am privileged to be inducted again to the board and be appointed as the Assistant Secretary General (Communications). We stand to benefit from our collective experiences and can leverage our strengths for our common interest to promoting the region through hosting global conferences and exhibitions. The buoyancy in the region's sector of global conferences and exhibitions has enhanced our international standing and image among the visiting delegations."
